Refund Policy for Heel Appeal Showcase Programs and Workshops

PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION

Heel Appeal programs and workshops offer payment options to ensure financial accessibility. Payments can be made in full through our payment processor, or a payment plan can be set up with pre-authorization. Payment plans must be completed before the program or workshop concludes, and a signed contract acknowledging our payment terms is required for registration.

MISSED OR FAILED PAYMENTS

If a scheduled payment fails due to insufficient funds or credit card errors:
  • Payment must be rectified within 14 days along with a $10 late payment fee.

  • Failure to respond to payment notices within 48 hours will result in suspension from all Heel Appeal classes and/or referral of the outstanding balance to collections.

  • If resolved within 48 hours, the $10 fee will be waived.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are offered under the following circumstances:

WITHIN 24 HOURS OF REGISTRATION

  • Full refund to the original payment method or as account credit if requested in writing within 24 hours of registering.

MORE THAN 1 WEEK BEFORE PROGRAM/WORKSHOP START

  • If the refund request is submitted in writing more than 7 days before the start date:
    • 50% of the program/workshop cost is available as account credit.

LESS THAN 1 WEEK BEFORE PROGRAM/WORKSHOP START

  • Refunds or account credit are not available within 7 days of the program/workshop start date.

AFTER PROGRAM/WORKSHOP START

  • No refunds or account credit will be issued after the program/workshop begins unless covered under “Exceptional Accommodations.”

EXCEPTIONAL ACCOMMODATIONS

Heel Appeal understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Refunds and payment plan adjustments may be granted in cases such as:
  • Pregnancy

  • Medical emergencies (e.g., injuries, illnesses, hospitalization)

  • Bereavement

  • Sudden job loss

  • Unplanned relocation

PROCESS FOR EXCEPTIONAL CASES

  • Submit a written request detailing the situation within 30 days of the program/workshop end date.
  • Provide any supporting documentation (if required).
  • Refunds or credits will be prorated based on participation up to the date of withdrawal.

WORKSHOP AND SHOWCASE-SPECIFIC POLICIES

  • Showcase Programs

    Showcase enrollment is a significant commitment due to costs like venue rentals, costumes, and guest instructors. No new students can be added after the term begins.

  • Workshops

     Workshop fees are non-refundable after the session date unless covered under “Exceptional Accommodations.”
